Liam Payne and Sophia Smith weren’t together for too long, but their former romance is still remembered by fans.
After staying friends for a few years, the former couple started dating in 2013. During a previous interview, Liam gushed to Attitude magazine about how they fell for each other.
“I didn’t actually go out with her [when we went to school],” the “Teardrops” artist explained. “I used to see her at school and we’d kind of chat. I asked her sister for her number. She was very shy and didn’t give much indication that she liked me, so I just assumed that she wasn’t interested, as well as thinking, she was way too hot for me anyway.”
