Being in the spotlight can be pressuring to look a certain way, however, several celebrities have expressed regret over getting plastic surgery.
From nose jobs to implants, actors and reality TV stars have revealed that they wished they didn’t undergo any cosmetic procedures and plastic surgeries in the first place.
While the Kardashian-Jenner family has opened up about going under the knife, other famous names have shocked fans when they admitted to getting cosmetic alterations. Ashley Tisdale was one of them who penned an emotional Instagram post in 2020, in which she discussed self-confidence and her remorse over getting surgery.

In a lengthy 2020 Instagram post, the former Disney Channel star revealed she “underwent breast enhancement surgery” and explained the impact the procedure had on her.
“Prior to the surgery, I constantly felt my body was less than and thought this change would make me feel more whole and more secure about myself,” Ashley explained. “And for a short period of time, it did. But little by little, I began struggling with minor health issues that just were not adding up — food sensitivities as well as gut issues that I thought could be caused by my implants. So, last winter I decided to undergo implant removal. This journey has been one of growth, self discovery, self acceptance and most importantly self-love.”

During a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Kylie revealed that she regrets getting a breast enhancement among other surgeries.
“I wish I never got them done to begin with,” she said. “ recommend anyone thinking about it to wait after children.” Kylie then added that she would be “heartbroken” if her daughter, Stormi Webster, got cosmetic enhancements at a young age.

Priyanka told Howard Stern in 2023 that her past botched nose job resulted in a “dark phase” once she learned that the surgeons had made a mistake.
“This thing happens, and my face looks completely different, and I went into a deep, deep depression,” she added.

In a 2022 Instagram post, Cardi explained that she got butt implants but advised fans not to go down the same road.
“In August, I got surgery and I removed 95 percent of my biopolymers,” the rapper explained. “If you don’t know what it is, it’s ass shots. It was a really crazy process. All I’m going to say is that if you’re young, if you’re 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you’re too skinny, and you be like ‘OMG I don’t have enough fat to put in my ass,’ so you result to ass shots, DON’T!”

The reality TV star revealed in 2010 that while her cosmetic alteration wasn’t botched, she still regrets getting it in the first place.
“On the show, you saw I had some bruising around my eyes after the procedure, which is totally natural, but because I hadn’t looked into the side effects, I freaked out,” Kim wrote via Instagram. “Botox just wasn’t necessary for me at this age.”

You look in the mirror and go, ‘That looks good.’ You think, and you don’t realize, what it looks like to the outside person. … I look at pictures of me when I thought I looked OK, and I can’t believe it.”
